Haha, this actually turned out a lot better than I had expected after reading your summary. Although a relatively simple piece, it managed to be entertaining, funny, -and- cute. It didn't leave me feeling like it was too short or inadequate at the end, because you wrapped it up very nicely. The animation was crisp, and the sound was just fine. Also, I liked the theme that you explored with this (sibling rivalry). You have managed to cover all bases here. ;)
Light hearted and enjoyable, I can safely say that I hope to see more flash from you in the future.

Though brief, I feel that what you lacked in length was made up for with the artistic quality that you displayed here. Interestingly enough, I also got an "anime" vibe from this. The light flash exposing the first samurai reminded me of Kenshin (from Rurouni Kenshin). I don't know if that was intentional, or accidental. Either way, it didn't subtract from what you were going for, which I feel is a personal vision of what the "Spirit of the Samurai" represents.
Fast and vibrant, strong animation and bold coloring -- I believe you captured the spirit pretty well. ;)

thank you...everything you say is true...
I regret that this is a short piece, but it's message is still present...
thanks for the kind review...

I'm not sure if you were trying to hit the funny bone with this one, but I found this to be very amusing. Somewhere in the midst of two Crono's fighting each other without any discernable purpose, and scenes of blood spewing, it struck me as humorous.
Beyond that, you did well with making the fight sequence fluid between the Crono's. It wasn't dull or repetitive, as one would find in most sprite battles. With the perspective tricks I could see you were making sure this was a step up above the expected, and you succeeded with that. The only problem that I would have would be the scratchy music. The sound effects, though, I didn't mind (contrary to what others have said). I found them to be appropriate for what you were going for here; a random sprite clone war. ;)

"A pinch of this, a touch of that... it worked. ;)"
I enjoyed this much more than Yuyu. The creature designs were interesting (and some quite cute ;x), as well as the story being much better at crafting what your world would feel like, and the purpose of the characters. Also, you added a touch of hilarity, which worked surprisingly well with the ethereal fantasy-like flow. Good work with this one! d(^^)b

The first word that came to mind when watching this was "cute", and to tell you the truth.. that was the extent of it. This is in no way a bad thing -- cute is hard to pull off without making me want to go homocidal. This was a pleasant sort of cute that I could tap my foot to in rhythm with the music and the smooth animation. Not the most gripping flash in the world, but hey.. it was all right (plus you saved a few lives). ;)

Definitely held my interest. I like the whole sci-fi approach to the theme of child alienation (no pun intended) and abortion. I felt like there was an underlying message that the pursuit of absolute perfection will ultimately result in a greater disappointment and consequently a more severe deformity. Or perhaps i'm looking too deep into a Newgrounds flash animation. ;) Anyway, good job!

"You had fun making it? I had fun watching it! <3"
Very nice! This is the first flash film i've seen on here so far that has made me actually -laugh-. Love the sense of humor; sarcastic, cynical, yet good natured jests. Also, right on with the mock representations of the different video game characters (Solid Snake, haha<3), as well as the Flash populace -- an instant classic. I hope to see more like this in the future! ;D

Nice animation and decent synchronicity with the music. These are both good qualities, but they fall short when there is no purpose to the visuals. For the sake of flexing your talent, you did well. If you were looking to achieve something beyond eye candy, though.. it didn't happen.

I felt like this was more just exercising potential here than adding substance. It was light hearted, consistent.. basically, it was all right. I wasn't blown away, but I didn't want to stab my eyes out either. Solid work, and that's about as far as it goes.

I see what you were going for here, but for me there were more misses than hits when it came to the jokes. The horrible animation and purposeful lack of effort toward the grammar was funny.. If only the content were different I would have liked it more. ;( Also, I think it would have been funnier if the voice were more Mario-like.
